Diane Day is a Vice President at Northern Trust Company, Chicago.  She serves as Administrator and Relationship Manager in the Personal Fiduciary Client Services Department.  Day is responsible for the administration of large complex trusts for individuals and families including revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, electing small business trusts charitable trusts.  Her duties often involve working with sophisticated estate plans, legal questions, sensitive family situations, and complex property transfers.  As a Trust Administrator, Day is familiar with fiduciary standards, principles and applicable laws and regulations.  She also coordinates related matters pertaining to fiduciary income tax and investments.​Day received a B.S. degree from Roosevelt University in 1981.  In 1991, she completed the coursework at the National Trust School at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.​Day joined Northern Trust in 1972, was named an Officer in February 1990, a Second Vice President in November 1993 and a Vice President in May 2001.

Day received the Designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor in March 1992 and the Designation of Certified IRA services Professional in May 2000.  She also holds Series 6 & 63 licenses and is a Licensed Investment Representative. Since 1997, Day has been a youth motivational speaker for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Advisors of Catholic Charities.  In May 2001, Day completed a two year lay ministry program for the Archdiocese of Chicago.  She serves as Lay Minister in charge of the St. Ailbe Senior Housing Mini.

Diane Day is an outstanding alumni and inductee in the DVHSAA Hall of Fame.  Over the past several years Diane has been committed to Dunbar serving on multiple committees and utilizing her expertise assisting the alumni association and the students.  Diane Day has set the bar high for alumni providing the Diane Day Scholarship to students on behalf of the DVHSAA.
